Greeters are the first warm welcome that everyone experiences on a Sunday at Emmanuel. This vital role is alert to first-time attenders who need assistance and initiates helping them find their way. They actively introduce themselves and offer a warm welcome to newcomers. Greeters resume their post after the service, pro-actively seeking out new people and helping them access the Welcome Desk or offering other opportunities to get connected.

Greeters serve during one service, every 3 weeks as part of a Welcome Team. They arrive ready for their team meetings at either 8:29am  or 10:29am  in the gym. They regularly attend Emmanuel and love to serve our church family!

In this role your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):

   + Arrive 30 minutes before the service you are serving at.
   + Attend the morning meeting before the service for prayer and information.
   + Greet those who are attending church each week. 
   + Be readily available to help newcomers navigate where they are going. 
   + Help direct those needing help to the Welcome Desk.

Commitment 2 hours, every 3 weeks (including attending the service).
