The Welcome Desk Crew are the friendly information nerve centre on Sunday mornings. They get to know newcomers and hand out gifts for first-time attenders. This crew helps our church family register for events and programs, as well as make suggestions and answer questions of people looking to get connected at Emmanuel.

Welcome teams serve for during one of our two morning worship services, on a three week rotation. They come 30 minutes early for a time of prayer with the team leader, and to share info about the service ahead. They usually attend the service and exit quickly to be available at the Welcome desk again for about 20 minutes after the service.

In this role your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
   + Attend Emmanuel regularly and are excited to share this church family with others
   + Enjoy meeting new people and providing them with information and resources to get connected
   + Able to flex and problem solve as you listen well and help people
   + Able to navigate the website and help people fill out online forms is an asset but not required

Commitment once monthly for 1-2 hours

Requirements: A regular attendee of Emmanuel for 6 months or longer
