Serving in this role you will have the opportunity to walk alongside some of the students who attend our youth program throughout the year. By being part of the youth team in this capacity you will have the opportunity to help disciple students as they take their desire to lead their peers in worship and apply it to their lives. You will be mentoring and encouraging these students as they learn, grow and serve. And in addition, our youth ministry is full of fun, laughter and crazy things and by serving in it you will have a front-row seat!  

This serving opportunity is a big commitment, but it is one that will have an eternal impact on the youth here at Emmanuel. We hope that you will consider joining us as we love, serve and disciples these teens!

In this role your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to): 
   + Coordinate and facilitate practice and performance time with members of the youth worship
       team 
   + Coach students on how to effectively lead worship
   + Model effective worship leadership during worship time on youth nights 
   + Disciple students

Familiarity with Audio/Visual Equipment is an asset. The ability to sing lead vocals and/or play piano or guitar is an asset. Experience leading worship is an asset.

The commitment would be for 3-4 hours on a rotating schedule for Tuesday evenings throughout the school year (September - August). And once a month team meetings with training sessions.

To serve in this role Safe Church Training is required and you need to be attending for a minimum of 6 months.
