Mental Health & Well Being - Starts Wednesday, April 10th, 6:45-8:30 pm
The church should be a sanctuary where individuals with mental health challenges feel safe, supported and a sense of belonging.
On Wednesday evening, April 10th, we will begin an 8-week series addressing mental health and well being. This series allows the church to participate in Christ's redemptive work of supporting those walking through mental health challenges and is also meant to encourage caregivers, family members, and friends of those with mental health challenges.
Various weekly topics will include discussions on subjects such as stigma, recovery, companionship, care-giving and self-care. If you are a person struggling with a mental health challenge, a care-giver of someone struggling with a mental illness, or if you are someone who simply wants to understand the challenges of mental health better, please join us as mental health professionals, theologians, and church leaders contribute insights, helpful biblical integration, and ideas for community support.
This series will be led by Greg and Tracey Steffens. We look forward to meeting you on Wednesday, April 10th.
