Bedlam is a weekend retreat from November 22-24 for Jr. High Students (Grades 6-8) from FEB churches across our region. It will be held at Muskoka Woods camp and is organized by FEBYouth.
Bedlam is a weekend where hundreds of Jr. High students come together to learn about God and worship Him. There are tons of fun games and activities, both inside and out. It is the only Jr. High retreat of the year that Emmanuel Youth attends.
Students and their Emmaneul Youth Leaders will travel to Muskoka Woods by school bus. They will be bunk together in cabins with their small group. There will be at least one leader in every cabin.
Departing: 6pm - Friday, November 22 (from Emmanuel Barrie)
Returning: 3pm* - Sunday, November 24 (to Emmanuel Barrie)

Cost: $230*

Refund Policy:
- 100% refund before October 21, 2024
- 50% refund between October 22-November 8, 2024
- No refunds after November 8, 2024 (unless another student can take that spot)
Please note: This is a tech-free weekend. Please leave electronic devices at home. Youth Leaders will have their cell phones if students need to connect with their parents.

1) EMMANUEL WAIVER:
I/we, the parent or legal guardians, undertake and agree to indemnify and hold completely blameless Emmanuel Baptist Church, its pastors, board of elders, staff and/or volunteers from and against any loss, damage or injury suffered by the participant as a result of being part of the activities of Emmanuel's Ministries, as well as any medical treatment authorized by the supervising individuals representing the church. I/we authorize the Emmanuel church staff or ministry volunteer staff to sign consent for medical treatment, and to authorize any physician or hospital to provide medical assessment, treatment or procedures for the participant named above in the event that the parent/guardian or provided emergency contact cannot be immediately reached. This consent and authorization is effective only when participating in and/or traveling for events of Emmanuel's Ministry. Emmanuel Ministry activities & events may include, but are not limited to indoor/outdoor sports & competitive games, offsite activities, service projects, and small group meetings. I/we understand that Emmanuel encourages ministry leaders to keep in contact with students and their families for ministry purposes. I/we also grant permission for the reasonable use of pictures and/or videos of the student taken during ministry time for promotional purposes at Emmanuel. By signing and dating below I confirm that I have fully read, understand and agree.
2) MUSKOKA WOODS WAIVER:
A Muskoka Woods Waiver Form is required for EVERY INDIVIDUAL (both students and leaders) that comes on Muskoka Woods property and must be handed in before boarding the bus. You cannot attend without this waiver and no refund will be issued for the failure to comply with Muskoka Woods requirements.
