The book of Isaiah is so significant in telling us about God that some have dubbed it the Fifth Gospel. Most Christians are aware of the amazing and specific prophecies about Jesus in Isaiah 53. But Isaiah is equally important in revealing God's character. We become aware of the holiness of God, his tender love for his people and his knowledge and control of the future. Isaiah lived in troubled times where people needed to trust God in their present circumstances and into their future. As we study Isaiah, we will also see our God who is trustworthy as we deal with present challenges and a God who controls our uncertain future.

This study requires a significant commitment. This course has around 10 sessions beginning January 27th. Each session will begin at 7:00pm and run until 8:30. You will be expected to read about five chapters in preparation for each session but guide notes will be provided. If you miss a session, the notes should help to keep you up to speed.

Andy Symons is a former high school history teacher. An extensive PowerPoint in session makes the book easily accessible with scripture, maps, diagrams and pictures.
