Galatians: Wed. evenings, 6:45 - 8:15 pm, beginning April 5th

They had been exposed to deception! People were disturbing and troubling Paul’s ‘sheep’ with a different gospel other than the one he had so tenderly and diligently shared with them. Some of the sheep were even wandering away, believing the distortion of the truth. As the gospel spread across the Roman world in the first decades after Jesus’ earthly ministry, a conflict arose. Jews and Gentiles were believing the gospel, but influences from outside were creating a struggle over what it meant to be a Christian. Christians began asking questions like, "How do you know for sure what it takes to gain entrance into heaven?" "Who is right?" "How will we know?"

God used Paul to write a letter to the Galatians that still speaks today. The true gospel continues to be distorted; error has crept into many churches that claim to have the way of salvation, and deception is rampant. Paul's message to the Galatians clears away the confusion and presents faith in Jesus alone as our complete and only hope for eternal life.

This study will run for 7 weeks and will be led by Shawn Hadigate. We look forward to having you join us for our spring women's bible study!
